About Monica Horber

Monica Horber is an experienced educational leader with over 20 years in education, guidance, student mentorship, and university admissions counselling. 

She currently serves as a University Admissions specialist and is also a lecturer at the University of Toronto. Monica is pursuing a Doctor of Education at the University of Toronto and works as a Lead Academic English Instructor. Her work combines academic expertise, leadership skills, and a student-centred approach to assist students in navigating the increasingly complex university admissions process. 

Monica has extensive experience working with diverse student populations, including international families—especially students from Asia and Canada—helping them gain admission to leading universities in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Australia. Her leadership style combines high academic standards with warmth, structure, and empowerment, enabling students to approach their future with clarity and confidence.
